This set of shelves looks nice, seems to be pretty sturdy, and was extremely easy to put together.It is about 40lbs so hanging is definitely not something that can be done alone. Two person job for sure.It is also not meant to be stub mounted. The holes are not drilled or measured for studs. This is made for a solid wall. That being said you can absolutely hang it on studs.First off throw out the wall hanging kit they include. Go buy some 2.5” 3/8” bolts. Line everything up and pre-drill your pilot holes in the stud AND the cabinet. Then tighten. I also used some 100lb capacity sheet rock anchors through the provided predrilled holes just as extra support. The thing hangs sturdy and does not budge.Only other thing is it isn’t wide enough to fit the PS4 so I had to stand that up behind the TV against the wall. So if you’re buying it as a TV shelf just measure that kind of stuff if it bothers you. I like it standing and hidden back personally so no problem for me.I take off one star because I had to buy different hardware to hang it (I would have had to buy different hardware anyway if I were to hang it on a concrete or other type of wall).Aside from that this thing is legit. Wife and I love it. Super simple to put togeather and wire up. Lights work great, and the provided power cord is great to help keep the wire clutters down.I highly recommend it.I love this shelf. It was really easy to assemble & install. I love the lights. It add a nice ambience to my living room.Sturdy well manufactured. Easy to assemble. The one downfall I would give it is the mounting holes aren't set up to mount on 16" center studs. I had to make my own holes. Other than that she's a beaut.Good quality, very sturdy and easy to assemble only thing and it's minor just wish the lights actually were evenly distributed between each section.I love the floating shelf and it was very easy to put together. Only issue is it fell from the wall, using the supported hardware that was provided. So not only do i need to fix my wall I also have to make new holes that can support the studs in wall and heavier bolts and screwsMy husband bought it for our living room and it looks so good for the price point. So much so that both my parents and my sister have purchased it as well bc they liked how it looked and its quality for the price point.Nice touch for my living space! Kids can't access the floating shelf lol
