It's not white, but a cream like color. Had trouble with the doors. There was nothing to stop them from sliding off the tracks, so they just kept going. I put a wide black tie wrap close to the ends of the track and with the locking part straight up, and this stops them. Does not have any kind of padding under it to protect floors. I bought felt padding. Good and sturdy for the money.
