My TV is 50” wide by 29” high. As you can see from the pics, it is just about perfect for this size. If yours is a bit larger with some overhang, that should work just fine too as this unit is very sturdy.I am very pleased with the look of this stand. I don’t think it is real wood. The feel of it is more like a composite of some sort but I was surprised at the weight of it. It is fairly heavy which makes it very sturdy. However, it’s not so heavy that you can’t move it around. I am 120 lbs and could slide the box to a place where I could unbox it and then each piece was no problem to move around. The poles that hold it up are metal and painted. They seem to be painted well but I will still be careful not to scrape anything against them as that might scratch the paint off. There are plastic pieces in the color of the board that fit over the screw holes on the top and they blend nicely. ( see pictures ) Overall, it seems to have some nice finishing touches. It is slightly rounded at the front and straight across the back. The basket that fits inside is made of cloth and has a stiff piece that fits inside the bottom like other baskets of similar design. There is a wood piece that fits into the back of the basket drawer to prevent it from falling out the back which I think is a very nice part of the design. It is easy to put together and has all the tools you need included. I am not especially mechanically inclined but it only took me about 10 minutes to put it together. The one thing I can say is a negative is that the instructions are not super clear. If you have put anything like this together before then you can figure it out but there only pictures, no words, so if a picture is unclear, there is no way to double check the meaning. When you are putting it together, they want you to start with the top piece ( A ) upside down on the floor and build it from the top up to the bottom then flip it over when you’re done. All the pieces are labeled well.I would definitely recommend. Great quality for the price.
