Just got the unit yesterday and decided to tackle putting it together (by myself!). It took me about 2.5 hours to assemble. There are a LOT of wood panel parts and an ungodly amount of hardware. It’s intimidating! I laid out the wood parts in numerical order and organized all the hardware in alpha order. Then I dove in. I used my cordless screwdriver & that was super helpful.The instructions were very well written. There are a LOT of poor instructions out there,but whomever wrote these was very clear and concise! Step by step I did it. My daughter and her friend agree the unit is beautiful (and it’s heavy!).I did receive an email from the vendor (via Amazon) saying that the 2 boxes (fireplace and the wood unit) will arrive separately and to be patient. Hoping to have the fireplace part in the next couple of days.Honest to God putting this together was a good boost for my self esteem. I’m a single women and it was a bit intimidated, but if you stay organized and patient you can do it.Providing the fireplace unit arrives shortly I highly recommend this!
